Chapter Eighteen – Lani

I did it; I can’t believe I did it. I know for a fact, that when the truth comes out, it’ll be a bad thing. I hope it doesn’t all fail before I get what I want. I looked at myself in my bathroom mirror.

“You are a bad bitch Alani,” I told myself.

Yeah I was bad; I was lusting and doing crazy shit behind a nigga that said he didn't want me. That’s just me though; I have an issue with rejection. I absolutely hate being turned down. The more Capo turned me down, the harder I went into getting him.

I know there were probably other ways of going about doing shit, but at the time, this seemed like the only way to do it. Like I said, I hope the shit doesn’t blow up in my face before I get what I want.
